Centura
Pearl exceeds all our hopes. Our
first concern in developing the new coating required for Centura Pearl was to
make sure it was suitable for several different applications. Metallic based
coatings are not always effective under glass, for example, so we needed to find
a way to ensure that the metallic lustre was enhanced by glass. Another
important factor for some markets is that it can be written on. Our laboratory
staff found a way to guarantee both these features, and so we began producing
samples. Many
framers and their customers have also commented on how beautifully a Centura
Pearl mount complements a wedding photograph. You can also see how Pete Bingham
uses it to great effect when framing a bride's floral headdress later in this
issue. In
the last three months, we have found many other applications for Centura Pearl,
some of which we have featured in this newsletter. If you would like to find out
more about this unique new product, please contact Mike Braddock. If you have any interest in either the framing market, the gift market or the promotional market, then you should consider a visit to this year's International Spring Fair at the NEC. The show runs from 6th -10th February, 2000 and Slater Harrison will be exhibiting on Stand M16 in Hall 6/20. See page 2 for further details. |
