"In the Frame" January 1998   page 1

Let your imagination soar at this year's Spring Fair

Of all the good reasons to visit the International Spring Fair this year, one of the best is to see the new ranges from Colourmount, displayed in all their glory on our stand in Hall 6. Join us in the 'On the Road Pavilion', stand 4.

In our meetings with framers, we are always interested to hear your ideas on the new colours or textures you would require to satisfy your customers' needs.
The market for interesting mountboard, both in this country and abroad, is growing, and nobody is keener to meet this demand than Colourmount. Our three new ranges are all now available from every Colourmount stockist.
The new linen range is ideal for traditional framing techniques but especially for box making or frame slips. In four subtle colours, Oatmeal, Wheat, Bran and Harvest, this luxurious board has a highly textured finish and a cream core for bevelling. The new linen board is available in 800mm x 1020mm size sheets and is thicker than standard board at 1.5mm.

Also available for immediate use is the new metallic range. In four exotic colours, it is ideal for contemporary art, photographic subjects and presentation material including awards and certificates. The same size and thickness as our standard board, the metallic range includes Bright Gold, Old Gold, Bright Silver and Copper.

Last, but by no means least, we have been exploring the beauty of wood for mountboard. A great deal of experimentation has gone into producing the first widely available range of woodgrain finishes for framing. We are introducing four colour options in a circular grain similar to bird's eye maple, which make a very striking mount for sporting prints. A connoisseur's choice for any subject matter, the woodgrain finish is available in three shades of brown or deep black.

We will be displaying the three new ranges on our stand at the Spring Fair, so make sure you visit us to collect your swatches - and surprise your customers with even more unusual mount options.
