"In the Frame" January 1998   page 2

More help for you from Colourmount

To make it easier for you to choose which Colourmount board is most appropriate for each subject - and to help your customer to understand the framing options available - we have completely redesigned our point of sale material.

We have spoken at length to many framers during the planning of the new material, to make sure it is as helpful as possible. There is a radical new design for the corner samples (chevrons) giving a wealth of information about the properties of each board and the recommended uses. This should make selling framing options easier and more profitable for you.
To keep the corners neatly displayed, a new stand has been produced which will hold the entire Colourmount range of sample corners. Each corner has the code number easily accessible when flicking through the range. To make ordering quicker, we have produced a brand new colour chart.
The easy to read layout and index system features the extended acid-free range as well as the new 1998 colours.
All the new support material you need is available from Colourmount stockists, but if you have difficulties obtaining what you require, contact: Andrew Branton on 01625 573155.

Andrew Branton Comments

Firstly, 'Happy New Year' to all our Colourmount customers and 'Welcome on Board' to our newcomers for 1998.
We have had a busy start to the year, putting together an exciting portfolio of new products as well as a whole new marketing strategy. We are committed to helping all our customers, both stockists and framers, to derive the greatest benefits from using Colourmount, and many of our plans are a result of talking to you. This issue of 'In The Frame' launches our brand new look for 1998 - the year of the butteffly - and is mainly devoted to our new products and the Spring Fair preview so we've given our regular contributors a chance to recover from Christmas. Pete Bingham will be back in the next issue so if there are any subjects you would like him to cover, let me know soon. Since our inaugural Mill Tour last year, we have been inundated with requests for another date. Therefore, due to popular demand, our next tour will be on March 4th. Details are on the back page, so to discover how Colourmount is made, book early! We will be at the Spring Fair as usual, so I really hope that we will see many of you there. If you remember to bring a copy of this newsletter, we'll even send you home with one of our super new Colourmount bags. What further incentive could you need? See you there!
