Overwhelming response shows confidence is high

We have all been surprised and delighted by the response from UK framers to our new Framer of Distinction competition. With entries from as far afield as Cornwall and Scotland, framers are obviously confident that the standard of service in this industry is high and we are expecting to have some difficulty choosing a winner from such a strong field.

The entries will be narrowed down through questionnaires, both written and telephone, to develop a shortlist of potential winners. A mystery customer with a genuine framing commission will then visit shortlisted framers and the final judging will be based on the level of service given to the mystery customer.

The main criteria for judging will be the quality of advice given and the options made available to the customer. We realise that most customers do not have a real understanding of how to frame a subject for the best presentation, so we will be looking for framers who are able to help the customer choose the right frame, within the budget available. The winner will be the framer whom our judges feel gives the best customer service - and to whom a customer is most likely to return with future framing projects.

A Framer of Distinction certificate will be presented to every framer delivering the required standard of service. The winner will also receive £1,000 worth of Colourmount board so, if you are confident of the service you offer, you should register your entry straight away. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain!
