Plenty of excitement at this year’s Spring Fair

The International Spring Fair at the NEC in Birmingham is destined to be a successful show for the framing industry, with the majority of the big suppliers and stockists exhibiting.

Colourmount will have a greater presence this year, on Stand M16 in the main framing hall. You will, as always, receive a very warm welcome on our stand, whether you are a Colourmount user or not.
This year we will be promoting our Jumbo board at the Spring Fair and, to add to the fun, we are running an exciting competition on the stand, in which you could win FREE Colourmount Jumbo board. You can improve your chances of winning by planning your entry in advance. Check the rest of this issue for further details of this and other exciting Spring Fair news.

Winning Framers of Distinction

Our hotly contested Framer of Distinction competition is now complete and has been won convincingly by Acorn Arts in Doncaster.
As readers of In The Frame will know, the Framer of Distinction competition had three stages: written questionnaires, telephone enquiries and mystery shopping. We were delighted at the high standard of entries and, after the first two stages of the competition, there was a distinct gap between the top twelve and the rest, so the short list for the mystery shopper stage was easily reached.
Acorn Arts emerged as the overall winner, but we are delighted to say that the judges also felt that five other framing shops deserved to be recognised as Framers of Distinction:

HIGHLY COMMENDED
The Framing Workshop, Bath
Brushstrokes, Bolton
Masterframes, Stanmore
Frameworks, Blyth
Ford Framing, Beverley

The winner’s prize and the Highly Commended certificates will be presented at the Spring Fair.
