"In the Frame" January 1999 page 2

Have you got everything you need for 1999?
If not see us at the Spring Fair

At Colourmount, we have spent a lot of time in the last year developing a range of point of sale material to help framers when dealing with customers. The range is available to framers, either by ordering direct or by asking your stockist to order for you. If you haven’t seen all the material or if you would like any more, you can place your order at the Spring Fair.

The most popular of all our point of sale material is the chevron set. This includes one corner shaped piece of board for every colour in our range and comes complete with its own branded stand. Each chevron is printed on the reverse with useful information such as the size, thickness and characteristics of the board as well as some suggested applications for each type. Many framers have commented on how helpful this information is, as it helps the customer to understand the options when discussing their choice of board.
We have found that framers often like to have a second set of chevrons, perhaps for the workshop, so we have also introduced the mini chevron set as an additional option. This set is perfect for quick reference and also includes all the most important information about each board on the reverse of the chevron.
During 1998 we extended our range to include all our standard colours in both neutral pH and with acid free core and backing. Acid free board has a bright white core and is made from chemically purified woodpulp. All potentially harmful substances have been extracted and this type of board is always buffered with calcium carbonate. In addition, if you need complete conservation quality, we offer 100% cotton, solid colour museum boards, so there is a board suitable for every application.
To help you when choosing and ordering Colourmount, a full colour chart is available, which also gives all the relevant information and is ideal for instant reference. The chart is punched for use in your files, or can be used as a wall chart.
Finally, to let potential customers know you offer quality framing using Colourmount board before they come into your shop, our decorative window stickers are ideal.
