Spring FairColourmount sizes available to all
The huge range of Colourmount boards that we sell to framers is also available in other markets, including graphics, craft and display.

Each market has traditionally used a different size of board, such as A1 for design and graphics and double imperial for framers. We have always produced boards in all the various sizes, but have never promoted them across all markets.

Now, for the first time, we have produced a wallchart which shows all the different sizes in which our range is available. Sizes include imperial, double imperial, A1 and jumbo, so there is something to suit everybody.

Customers can use the wallchart to choose the size of board to suit the job they are undertaking, rather than sticking to the size dictated by the tradition of their market

New label stock resists solvents
As part of its product development programme, Webmaster has been working with Slater Harrison to develop new coatings for label stock, creating opportunities in new
markets. This has resulted in the launch of WebTechTM, an exciting material ideal for the car industry.

WebTech has a revolutionary new top coating that offers a high level of
resistance to the many solvents and corrosive liquids present in underbonnet applications. Brake fluid, for example, will remove the ink from an ordinary label on an engine component within minutes, as will both acetone and anti-freeze. Not so with WebTech.

A huge advantage of WebTech over other solvent resistant label stock is that WebTech can be printed using any type of print technology, including thermal transfer, flexo, laser, litho, screen, hot foil and dot matrix. It can even be printed using less expensive techniques, such as wax or wax/resin thermal transfer ribbons and water based flexo inks, which gives a major cost benefit whilst still delivering the same high level of solvent resistance.

It is not just the automotive industry that will benefit from the unique properties of WebTech. Other companies whose labels come into contact with chemicals, including household cleaning fluids, are also potential customers.

For print and apply use, WebTech offers another benefit - it reduces static electricity, which means labels are less likely to curl.
Fewer jams in the machine lead to less wastage and greater productivity.

The WebTech coating is white and available on polypropylene, polyethylene and two grades of polyester.
These base materials can cope with different applications and service temperatures and allow Webmaster to offer a range of price points to customers depending on their requirements.

All WebTech materials are offered in rolls of up to 1000m2,
slit or sheeted as required by the individual customer. There is a very low minimum order requirement of only 250m2, which makes WebTech affordable for even short run labels.

WebTech is currently being promoted to specific markets such as automotive and chemical industries, as well as direct to printers who can offer it as a benefit to their own customers. For swatches and pricing, please contact Ron Jones at Webmaster on 01706 656122.
