Special Occasion pearlescents

Centura Pearl has been so popular in the decorative packaging market that we are extending the range yet again to capitalise on the demand for giftwrap, tags and envelopes.

The additional colours will be known as ‘Special Occasion’ colours and include vibrant metals as well as traditional red and green. Although ideal at Christmas time, these colours are also perfect for birthdays, anniversaries and other celebrations such as weddings and christenings. Xmas Red, a very bright and beautiful pearlescent, would be perfect for Valentine’s Day.

Interestingly, our work in the greetings card market is expanding, with our new colours but also with existing colours. One of the UK’s leading envelope manufacturers has used Centura Pearl for greetings card envelopes for some time,
but is now working with us to develop the use of the coated product for the cards too.

When printed with translucent ink, the pearlescent finish shows through the design, creating a stunning card that can be sold with a matching envelope.

Better use M6 for guaranteed delivery - even in busy periods

You might think it is impossible to get anywhere quickly when you’re relying on the M6. Not when you are talking about M6 Papers, a local paper merchant with a reputation for quality, speed and service.

Slater Harrison has been working with M6 Papers for several years, in which the two companies have both become customer and supplier to each other. The relationship relies on regular communication of ideas to ensure that the needs of both parties are met. Mike Braddock, Slater Harrison’s Managing Director, feels that M6 Papers offers excellent service, saying, “We work closely with M6 as a supplier of bespoke sizes of paper for our coated products. As it is important for the paper to be produced to exactly the sizes that suit our machines, and we must never run out, even in busy periods, we have to work with a reliable supplier. M6 has never let us down and we know they will go the extra mile when we need them to (no pun intended!).” M6 has built its business on a philosophy of working just a little bit harder to meet the needs of its customers, a strategy that Mike Braddock confirms is paying off. By employing specialists in those markets and sectors in which it deals,
M6 can offer expert advice on the right product for the job, rather than just selling whatever is in stock. On top of this, M6 will guarantee not only to respond to every enquiry within the customer’s deadline, but to fulfil the order within 24 to 72 hours, depending on terms agreed.
