Slater Harrison & Co Limited, manufacturer of the leading Colourmount range of mountboards, is delighted to announce the launch of four exciting new mountboard products. The new additions are suitable for a wide range of framing and mounting applications and are available to order now.

No mess, no fuss, no need to mount
Colourmount Ink Jet Artboard is a new cream core mountboard with a coating designed specifically to provide excellent colour reproduction, making it ideal for the relatively new process of giclee printing that is taking the fine art reproduction industry by storm. Colourmount Ink Jet Artboard is suitable for any printer with flat feed capability, even a small professional desktop printer will produce outstanding results, thanks to the superior surface coating. By printing your image directly on to the board the need to mount is eliminated, thereby reducing costs on time and materials.

Colourmount Ink Jet Artboard has a thickness of 1250 microns and is available in packs of ten 815 x 1125mm sheets, whilst for those with smaller requirements it is also available in A4+ and A3+ sizes, suitable for desktop printers. This superb new board is available in White, Ivory, Chalk White and Buttermilk, allowing printers to create a variety of effects and the textured finish of Chalk White and Buttermilk can even be used to give the authentic appearance of canvas.

In addition to fine art reproduction, Colourmount Ink Jet Artboard is ideal for many applications including weddings, portraits, displays and even signage.

Need something a little special?
Next in the line of new products available from the manufacturer of Colourmount is Speciality Mountboard, a completely new range of mountboards featuring a variety of patterns and textures.

This 1350 micron board is produced to a neutral pH specification, making it suitable for most types of framing, and is available in packs of 25 with a sheet size of 815 x 1120mm. Assorted packs of ten are also available as an alternative. A selection of 20 luxurious colours ensures the perfect match for your framing requirements, and this unique effect is only available from Colourmount in the UK, adding a whole new dimension to picture framing and keeping you a step ahead of the competition.

Give your customers the choice they deserve
Double Value Mountboard is a new creation from Slater Harrison aimed at helping framers to offer maximum choice to their customers. The new double sided mountboard allows you to mix and match colours on the front and reverse, which means you can now offer twice the colour option without increasing your stockholding. This could also put an end to your customers having to wait for lengthy periods whilst specific boards are delivered in.

Available from stock, this 1250 micron cream core board has Ultra White on one side and one of five popular colours to the reverse. Alternatively the five standard colours, Silk White, Natural White, Gardenia, Cream Vellum and Ebony, can be used in any combination to suit your requirements, subject to the low minimum order of just 500 sheets. This also applies to orders where a white core is preferred over the standard cream core.

This great new board offers exceptional value and bulk packing on pallets enables prices to be held even lower, making Double Value Mountboard an ideal product for all small and medium sized framers looking for that competitive edge.

Dry mounting options on the increase
Slater Harrison has made two new additions to its Colourmount range of Self Adhesive Backing Boards, giving a wider choice of mountboards suitable for dry mounting applications. In addition to Speedmount and self adhesive, white lined, cream core board, Colourmount can now offer a self adhesive white lined board with grey core and a self adhesive grey lined board with grey core.

The new Colourmount Self Adhesive Backing Boards are available in 1500 micron thickness for the white lined grey core board and 1200 micron thickness for the grey lined grey core board with both available bulk packed on pallets in a sheet size of 1000 x 1200mm. The simplicity of self adhesive boards makes them incredibly economical to use and suitable for a range of applications such as mounting posters, prints and light fabrics, with the new self adhesive grey lined grey core board being particularly suited to the production of jigsaws.
