Centura Pearl finish ideal for packaging
Slater Harrison & Co, one of the leading coaters of paper and board
in the UK, has launched Centura Pearl, a stunning new pearlescent product
ideal for packaging and printing applications.
In the past, when pearlescent or metallic substrates have been used
for packaging - chocolate boxes being one example - they have
caused problems for both manufacturers and printers. Not so with Centura
Pearl. This exciting new range is available in 25 colours, including gold,
old gold, silver and copper, and, unlike traditional metallics, will neither
fingerprint nor tarnish.
Centura Pearl can be litho printed using fully oxidising drying inks,
giving a stunning finish in which the pearlescent quality of the product
is still visible. The coatings can be applied to any weight of substrate
supplied on a roll. Slater Harrison will coat one or both sides as required,
and then convert to the specified size of rolls, coils or sheets.
Available from stock in twenty five standard colours, Centura Pearl
can also be produced to order for larger volumes, ideal for packaging,
literature or point of sale material in corporate colours. These effects
have always been popular with designers and specifiers alike and Centura
Pearl is now bringing practicality and versatility to a stunning range
of pearlescent colours.
