Slater Harrison & Co, one of the leading coaters of paper and board in the UK, has launched Centura Pearl, a stunning new pearlescent paper and board, that is ideal for customers looking for an exciting alternative for packaging and printing material.

This exciting new range is available from stock in 25 colours, including gold, old gold, silver and copper. For larger volumes, it can also be produced to order, for example to match a corporate colour or to reinforce brand image.

Centura Pearl has a number of advantages over other metallic or pearlescent effects. It will not fingerprint or tarnish (unlike most metallic papers); it can be litho printed using fully oxidising drying inks, and it can be written on even with a fountain pen. When printed, it gives a stunning finish in which the pearlescent quality of the product is still visible.

Centura Pearl coatings can be applied to any weight of substrate supplied on a roll. Slater Harrison will coat one or both sides as required, and then convert to the specified size of rolls, coils or sheets.
