Slater Harrison, part of the L. S. Dixon Group Ltd., has recently announced the acquisition of Cavalier Tapes and Conversions. This compliments the previous acquisition of Webmaster, both companies being involved in self adhesive materials.

Cavalier is a supplier of quality single and double-sided tapes along with a wide range of labelstocks for specialist or bespoke applications. The company currently enjoys a wide customer base ranging from print finishing, point of sale and packaging through to exhibition and motor trade markets.

The acquisition has allowed Cavalier, which is one of the few UK companies that can still strip or pattern coat adhesives, to compliment its existing product base by drawing on the extensive experience and history of innovation with the group. They can now incorporate the vast range of specialist coated papers and boards produced by Slater Harrison whilst also developing products for laser, thermal transfer, inkjet printable or solvent resistant applications.
