Soaring on the success of Welsh Framing

Roger Edwards has been involved in the picture framing business for over 20 years, initially as a framer and now as a distributor, and has a wealth of experience to benefit his customers.

Welsh Framing Supplies, established in 1987, supplies more than 75% of framing shops and galleries in Wales.
Roger stocked Colourmount right from the start - back in the days when our range only included 36 standard colours ! Now, of course, he stocks the whole Colourmount range of 161 boards, as well as a wide range of mouldings, glass, hardboard and other accessories.
Welsh Framing has grown from a one man business to a distributorship with a fleet of 3.5 ton vans covering the whole of Wales - an area of over 8,000 square miles !
Customers are contacted by telephone in advance of each delivery trip, and the vans also carry a range of additional material for unplanned requirements. This attentive, personal service has been a major contributor to the company's growth.
Roger and his wife, Sue, have a keen interest in conservation and, in 1987, established a Birds of Prey Hospital to care for and train birds for reintroduction to the wild.
The Hospital deals with more than 100 injured birds of prey each year, many of which feature in paintings by Sue, a talented wildlife artist. A permanent display of Sue's work can be seen at the gallery in Llanidloes.
Maintaining the Birds of Prey Hospital is an expensive business, so Roger and Sue rely mainly on the income from Welsh Framing to allow them to pursue this interest along with other associated environmental projects. Roger is very grateful for the support he has received from his staff and loyal customers over the years, without which he and Sue would be unable to continue their work with birds of prey.
