Oldest & brightest is given a new          look

Day-Glo, one of the oldest brands owned by Slater Harrison, and certainly the brightest, is synonymous throughout the world with fluorescent material of all types. Now this thirty year old brand is getting a new look to see it through the next thirty years.

All retail packs within the Day-Glo copier range will now be packed in the new-style packaging. The design retains key elements of the original design, such as the Day-Glo sun, that has become so closely associated with the brand, but with a more modern interpretation to take it forward.

This move is as a result of a series of new listings that have been achieved in the last year for Day-Glo copier paper and card in both office suppliers and retail outlets. With more and more of the population having access to a PC at home, the use of Day-Glo copier paper (which is also suitable for laser printers) is growing as people discover how much impact it gives their work. The new packaging will help to ensure that Day-Glo copier paper and card retains its impact at point of sale for a new generation of users.

Centura Pearl looks ahead to the future

Gucci, Prada, Versace and Chanel. New York, London, Paris and Milan. Fashion Houses in Fashion Capitals, all working on the fashions of the future.

When we consider future trends, most of us might wonder what the new colour for the season might be: will blue be the new black or will skirts
will be long or short this year?

What we don’t necessarily consider is how the decisions made within the fashion industry will affect areas of our lives other than our clothes - and how those decisions are even made.At Slater Harrison, we spend much of our time considering just these issues, especially for products like Centura Pearl, which is used so much in relevant industries such as decorative packaging.

In fact, the colours of the future are so important to us, that we have recently employed a specialist colour agency to help us develop our range for the next two years. These experts have predicted not just the colours that will be popular in the future, but which exact shade of each colour we should produce, and we have followed their advice. So our new green is not just any green, but a subtle shade of moss green, complemented by shades such as mink and cream.

The new range of Centura Pearl contains sixteen colours and will be displayed in all its glory at this year’s Spring Fair. If you are unable to attend, please contact our sales office for samples on 01625 578900.

Manufactured from Colourcard in five shades plus gold and silver metallics, the new card scallops are available in packs of two rolls, each 7.5m long.Teachers can purchase our newcard scallops from leading Education distributors.
